APPLY BY JUNE 30 2021

Project: Humanity (PH) is a socially-engaged not-for-profit theatre company founded in 2008. Based in Toronto, but active nationally, PH believes the performing arts can bring disparate groups together and help them listen more compassionately. We’ve become one of the country’s leading developers of Verbatim Theatre, a journalistic form of theatre that involves transforming original interview transcripts into ‘live documentaries’ for the stage. The PH: YOUTH arm of the company, operating in high schools and in the youth shelter system, has impacted the lives of over 19,000 students since we incorporated twelve years ago.

the Role:

The Development and Communications Coordinator's role on our team is all about relationship management -- whether it be fostering new company connections through social media content, building rapport with existing and potential donors, sharing our company's impact with decision-makers in funding bodies, or liaising with artistic and community partners to ensure their voices are centred in the stories we tell about our work. The person in this role will have access to learning opportunities, coaching and support through The Fundraising Lab (Cathy Mann), as well as access to industry tools and resources such as Grant Connect, Spark, and ArtsVest training modules.
